The South Coast Folk Society will host a free public Dance Party in Bandon on Saturday evening, December 17, from 7-9:30pm. Singles, couples and families, dancers all ages, are all welcome to enjoy a casual evening of social dance at this popular monthly event. No experience is required. There will be live music and recorded music, plus dance instruction.
The South Coast Dance Party will feature a wonderful variety of enjoyable dances from America and around the world. We meet at the Bandon Senior Activity Center, located on West 11th in City Park. The center will be filled with the sound of local musicians playing traditional tunes, plus beautiful recorded music, and, of course, happy dancers. Join us on the dance floor, or relax to great music.

Welcome to the Winter of Rebellion
Our after-hours speakeasy-style series where wine flows, jazz smolders, and comedy keeps things dangerously fun through the winter months. We’re hosting a rotating lineup of intimate nights filled with live jazz, stand-up comedy, and that underground energy you didn’t know you needed this season.
Each evening has its own personality — some nights smooth and soulful, others laugh-out-loud ridiculous — but every night will be one to remember!
Here’s how it works
Show up hungry and ready to relax into sultry jazz music or to laugh so hard you have to try not to spit your wine everywhere.
Comedy Nights
A ticket price of $25 per person will be charged at the door on comedy nights to support our local artists. Please no children. 21+ only. These jokes will not be family friendly.
Jazz Nights
Jazz nights are free to attend. These nights are meant for everyone. Perfect for families.
Reservations are appreciated. Walk-ins are always welcome

Join us at The Forest Conservation Burial Ground to celebrate the Spring Equinox on Sunday, March 22nd
2:00pm: Guided walk through the burial ground exploring the land’s story, conservation projects, and connected cycles of earth, life, and death. This is an opportunity to learn, walk gently, and experience the peace held by the land.
3:00pm: Gather around the fire for a community celebration and reflection circle; a time to share words, presence, and gratitude for the changing seasons.
