This chair-based yoga class incorporates movement, poses, breath, and guided relaxation in both seated and (optional) standing sequences. We move slowly and mindfully, with plenty of opportunity to pause and notice. The classes are designed using the principles of yoga for healthy aging to support brain and body wellness.

Instructor Bio: Lori Sours, PhD, has been teaching yoga since 2014 and is a Create an account with JCC Yoga Teacher at the 500-hour level with Yoga Alliance. Beyond Lori’s certification work, her specialized training includes teaching yoga for healthy aging and chair yoga for brain and body health. She is passionate about introducing the benefits of slow, mindful yoga, including chair yoga, to people who want to feel their best every day and age wisely.
Join the Schneider Museum of Art for “Eons: Unraveling Time,” an exhibition curated by Maria de Los Angeles featuring the work of eleven artists exploring our complex relationship with time. Through painting, sculpture, photography, installation, printmaking, textiles, and video, the exhibition considers time through memory, history, mythology, labor, tradition, and imagination, inviting visitors to slow down, look closely, and consider how the past continues to shape the present. This exhibition will be on view through March 13, 2027.
Featured artists: Ryan Bonilla, Cody Bustamante, Laurel Bustamante, MK Guth, Maria de Los Angeles, Charlene Liu & Isami Ching, Sara Siestreem (Hanis Coos), Gerry Snyder, Alex Valentine, and William Warden.

Experienced students are the focus of this ongoing class but beginners may join after contacting the instructor. Tai Chi and Qi Gong are calming practices that incorporate slow movement, breathwork, visualization, and meditation. Consistent practice fosters improved balance, body alignment, coordination, and overall sense of well-being. Tai Chi students will also practice the Qi Gong. To determine if you are ready for this level placement, please contact instructor Carolyn Wolf prior to attending at carwolf@sonic.net.
Instructors Bio: “I have been a certified Tai Chi Practice Leader (from the Institute of Integral Qi Gong and Tai Chi) since 2015 and have been leading classes locally since then. I enjoy sharing all the practice has to offer; relaxation, increased body awareness, improved balance, meditation techniques, and overall improved well-being.”

Join us for a three-part, hands-on workshop series exploring practical, ecological approaches to farming and landscape restoration without herbicides. Through field demonstrations, restoration site tours, and collaborative learning, participants will gain tools and knowledge to support healthy, resilient landscapes.
This workshop will showcase some of the key restoration projects at the Vesper Meadow Restoration Preserve: demonstrating six years of working toward restoring native First Foods, pollinator and grassland habitat. In this part 3 of 3, we’ll discuss practical, herbicide-free restoration techniques and Pollinator habitat and gain hands on experience with preparing and seeding native grasses and forbs.
