KS Wild’s Rogue Riverkeeper presents the Rogue Float: a "BYOB" (Bring Your Own Boat) event! Float the Rogue River through downtown Grants Pass, Oregon from Baker Park to Schroeder Park on Saturday, July 2.
Join us for a non-motorized day on the water and a party at the take-out to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Clean Water Act. Shuttle service will be available.
Tickets: $25/person or $10 for children 12 or younger (the fee helps cover event costs including insurance, food, non-alcoholic drink, facility rental, and shuttle back). GF and vegan food options will be available. Shuttle service will pick people up at Schroeder Park and bring them back to their car at Baker Park but the shuttle will not be able to carry boats. Drivers will need to pick up their boats at Schroeder.

The Oregon Honey and Mead Festival 2022 brings people together for tasting and learning experiences focused on honey, mead, bees, hive products, environment and agriculture. This year we have invited vendors to bring their bee and honey-themed wares as well. This year’s location is Vogel Plaza and the Craterian Theater.
OHU’s Dr. Andony Melathopoulos will be on hand to talk about the lives of native bees. The title of the talk will be: "Take a Walk on the Wild Side: Oregon's Weird and Wonderful Native Bees".
Lilly Weichberger, Oran Mor Artisan Meadery will also be on hand to talk about mead making.
Mead tasting is limited to adults. Alcohol consumption is limited to the Lobby area of the Theater.
Music will be provided by the Jen Ambrose Duo, Wilderlands and the Robbie DaCosta Trio.

Learn basic botany and plant identification skills, which plants are edible and have medicinal uses, as well as various extraction and medicine making methods. Finally you’ll get hands-on practice at making tinctures and more with plant material gathered during your exploration in the field. Ages 12+ welcome.

Drive-thru fundraiser hosted by local 4-H & FFA organizations. 4-H & FFA members raise animals that are sold at the Shasta District Fair in June. Supporters then buy the animals at the Junior Livestock Auction and graciously donate them to that the community can enjoy the BBQ. Meal includes: several types of meat, garlic bread, beans, cookie & beverage The BBQ was created to benefit the agricultural education programs offered through our local 4-H & FFA organizations. These programs offer kids more than just education and working knowledge, it also helps create solid community members. Ticket donation cost: $15 All proceeds will be distributed to the participating 4-H & FFA clubs.
