Is your child going to be age 5 by September 1st? Then it is time to enroll for Kindergarten. Ashland School District enrollment is now open for the 2026-2027 school year.

Experienced students are the focus of this ongoing class but beginners may join after contacting the instructor. Tai Chi and Qi Gong are calming practices that incorporate slow movement, breathwork, visualization, and meditation. Consistent practice fosters improved balance, body alignment, coordination, and overall sense of well-being. Tai Chi students will also practice the Qi Gong.

Instructors Bio: I have been a certified Tai Chi Practice Leader (from the Institute of Integral Qi Gong and Tai Chi) since 2015 and have been leading classes locally since then. I enjoy sharing all the practice has to offer; relaxation, increased body awareness, improved balance, meditation techniques, and overall improved well-being.”

New Exhibition - StitchPunk presented by SAQA

Studio Art Quilt Associates, Inc. (SAQA) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote the art quilt: "a creative visual work that is layered and stitched or that references this form of stitched layered structure."

Our vision is that the art quilt is universally respected as a fine art medium. SAQA’s core values are: excellence, innovation, integrity, and inclusion.

Over the past 3+ decades, SAQA has grown into a dynamic and active community of over 4,000 artists, curators, collectors, and art professionals located around the world.

Alongside Resistance wines, we’ll be opening bottles from producers we love, admire, or are mildly jealous of.

Think of it as wine nerd night without the annoying wine nerd energy.

REI in Medford: Join wilderness adventurer, mountaineer and backcountry navigator Michael Cooper for a slideshow of his pioneering expeditions through five sun-scorched deserts and harrowing stories of jungle survival and whitewater accidents from his award-winning memoir Miscalculated Risks: Attacked, Crippled, Paralyzed, Drowning, Unconscious and Freezing in The Wild (Just Not All at Once). Following the slideshow, Michael will read an excerpt from his gripping memoir recounting one of his most ambitious desert expeditions. The event will close with Michael answering your questions and signing copies of his bestselling book.
