Celebrate Oregon’s Lavender Festival with plein air painting! Kristen will give everyone a quick morning lesson for a successful start. Students will be able to paint for most of the day, with special attention given to tactics of taming purple into working for you! Optional feedback and group share at the end of the day. This class is meant for intermediate painters, please bring your own supplies and sack lunch
Inspired by Aboriginal storytelling traditions, Miranda Caroligne’s "journey sticks" are a must-see! Now, you can learn the weaving techniques to create your own personal journey stick to take home. Relationship Recovery is a community-based non-profit organization located in Grants Pass, Oregon, dedicated to supporting individuals navigating the complexities of grief and trauma. Our mission is to provide a compassionate and understanding environment where men and women can find solace and the tools necessary to move forward in their healing journey. We have developed a comprehensive program consisting of four classes, each designed to address different stages and aspects of the healing journey.
Support - Meet others with a story to tell and realize that you are not a failure, and more importantly, you are not alone.
Transitions - After telling your story, it’s time to transition from the past and learn from it, forming a new "normal".
Boundaries - Figure out what an appropriate boundary is for family, friends, significant others, and even yourself.
Rebuilding - Work on building better relationships and a whole new life.
