The Scott River Watershed Council invites you to join us on May 17, 2025, for a Sugar Creek Ranch & Beaver Haven Conservation Open House. This special event offers a unique opportunity to explore ongoing restoration efforts, learn about local conservation projects, and connect with experts dedicated to preserving the health of our watershed. Visitors will gain insight into habitat restoration initiatives, fisheries monitoring, and sustainable land management practices that support the ecological resilience of Sugar Creek and the broader Scott River watershed.
Whether you're a landowner, conservationist, or community member, we welcome you to be part of this collaborative effort to protect and enhance our natural resources. Mark your calendar and join us for a day of education, engagement, and stewardship!
There are two separate events:
7:00am to 3:00pm - Fishing for kids, birdwatching, hiking, nature journalling, fire making, and more! This is free, open to all!! PLEASE NOTE: All fishing equipment needs to be brought by participants.
3:00pm to 6:00pm – Drinks, hors d’oeuvres, program, dinner and dessert auction! Please purchase ticket(s) below.
Willow Wind Community Learning Center will be hosting its First Annual Community Rummage Sale on Saturday, May 17th, 2025 from 8 am - 2 pm PDT at 1497 E Main St, Ashland, OR 97520. The purpose of the event is to raise funds for school programming otherwise not covered by the school budget.
At the rummage sale you’ll uncover hidden treasures like kids’ books, toys and games, kids/teen/adult clothing, jewelry, sporting goods, quirky collectibles, and gently loved items with stories to tell—all at unbeatable prices. In addition to the sale, the school will be hosting food trucks: Rogue Food Unites, Detroit Mike’s Pizza and Bagels, along with coffee and pastries from Bar Juillet!

This small group personal training program is designed for groups of 8-10, offering the benefits of personal training in a group setting.
All fitness levels welcome, though you will need to be able to get up and down from the floor without assistance. A combination of weight training, balance exercises and some cardio with functional lifelong wellness in mind. Benefits include prevention of osteoporosis by stimulating the growth of muscle and bone, mental and emotional health, improved immune system, and most importantly lower risk of falls, metabolic diseases and cognitive decline.
Starting May 3, the heart of downtown Ashland will be home to the Saturday Market, running every Saturday until October 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the 100 block of Oak St. This exclusive one block long market provides healthy options, fresh organic produce, artisan foods, and more every week for the locals and travelers passing through. We encourage everyone to join us in supporting local while cultivating community in Southern Oregon.

Join us on the morning of May 17th for the Second Annual Ashland Alleycat! Started in 2024, the Ashland Alleycat is a community bike event designed to get riders of all abilities out there riding bikes! An alleycat is a scavenger hunt style bike race, where riders are given clues to reach checkpoints and complete challenges. There will be varying course lengths of 5 miles, 10 miles, and 25 miles to meet experience levels of a variety of riders.
The Alleycat will meet at Hunter Park, between the tennis courts and the bike paths, on Saturday May 18th, at 9:30 AM. We have a suggested donation of $10 - 20 which will provide lunch and swag!
