GPHS Project Graduation 2026 is sponsoring the annual "Will-A-Thon" to raise money for a safe drug and alcohol free party for the Class of 2026. Participants will consult with one of the following volunteer attorneys to have a basic will, power of attorney, and advance directive prepared. Cost $300 Single, $350 Couple. 🛠 Repair Café is back in Eureka on Sunday, March 15! 🛠👖 The Repair Café is an international movement that connects skilled volunteers with community members who have broken items in need of a second life, which keeps useful items out of the landfill and in our homes where they belong. If you have a broken lamp waiting to be fixed or a hole in your favorite jeans waiting to be patched, bring them on down for a FREE repair to the ADORNI CENTER, 1011 Waterfront Drive from 10am-2pm on Sunday, March 15.▶ Items must be small enough to be carried by yourself, and you must take them home at the end of the event. If you have the materials for the repair, please bring them. Examples of items to bring include; bikes, laptops, lamps, clothing, jewelry, stereo, small wooden furniture, and more!‼ Volunteers are needed! Instructors Bios: Kelly Rose, the founder and owner of Kelly Rose Wellness, is dedicated to guiding individuals toward healing through deep relaxation. Her nine years of study and practice in sound healing reflect her passion for sharing its benefits with others. Mindy Smith took her first yoga class as a college elective and has been devoted to the practice ever since. She studied Vinyasa Yoga under renowned teacher Shiva Rea in Venice Beach, CA, and has been a full-time health education professor at West Los Angeles College since 2001. In 2008, she expanded her teaching to include semester long yoga electives for the kinesiology department.
Mindy's additional training includes pre and post natal yoga, yoga for children, and Mental Health First Aid. She has led college-wide workshops on yoga, meditation, and self-care for students, staff, and faculty alike.
In 2011, Mindy spent six transformative months traveling through India, where she studied Ayurveda—India’s traditional “science of life”—and deepened her understanding of yoga, breathwork, and meditation at the source. She integrates this ancient wisdom into her own teaching, creating a dynamic blend of modern science, anatomical alignment and traditional practice.
