First Friday is basically our way of saying: you survived the week — now come drink wine about it.
Join us each First Friday for good pours, live music, great food and the kind of vibes that make you forget what day it is (except that it’s Friday… and that part matters).
We’ll be pouring your favorite Resistance wines, cranking up the good energy, and welcoming you in like family.
Here's the rundown for January
2:00pm-8:00pm: Empanada Throwdown
Wine tastings, bottles, all the local, homemade CABA empanadas you can dream of! Come hungry!
6:00pm- 8:00pm- Tres Palomas Performs
Tres Palomas - Three Doves- is comprised of Mari, Sean & Jason. They are a soulful blend of tender bossa nova, nostalgic jazz and dramatic ballads in French, Spanish and Portuguese.
Come for “just one glass.” Stay for three. No judgment here.

First Friday Bike Rides are family-friendly bike rides for people of all ages and abilities. We celebrate every first Friday, all year long, Ashland’s future where it is safe, convenient and efficient to bicycle for short in-town trips from anywhere to everywhere. Join us for a fun and short bike ride in and around town.
The Fry Street Quartet is a trailblazing ensemble known for its “blend of technical precision and scorching spontaneity” (The Strad). Described as “a triumph of ensemble playing” (The New York Times), the FSQ has performed at venues from Carnegie Hall to London, Sarajevo, Jerusalem, and across the United States. The quartet is joined by violist Toby Appel, a frequent guest with The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, and Monica Ohuchi, a piano soloist with an active international career. The program includes Mozart's Quartet in E-flat Major, K. 428; Kenji Bunch's "The Viola Burns Longer"; and Antonín Dvořák's String Quintet No. 3 in E-flat Major, Op. 97 B. 180 “American.”
The Humboldt Folk Dancers invite the public to a live music, International Folk Dance Party, Friday, November 7 from 8 to 10:30 p.m. at the Redwood Raks World Dance Studio, 824 L Street, in the Creamery District in Arcata. The event features easy dances and an evening of international music with Chubritza. Cost is $5-10 sliding scale, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Starting May 3, the heart of downtown Ashland will be home to the Saturday Market, running every Saturday until October 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the 100 block of Oak St. This exclusive one block long market provides healthy options, fresh organic produce, artisan foods, and more every week for the locals and travelers passing through. We encourage everyone to join us in supporting local while cultivating community in Southern Oregon.

🌊 Join the City of Eureka, PacOut Green Team , and STIL for the bi-monthly Trash Bash! This waterfront cleanup will take place on October 3 from 9am-10:30am at the Elk River/Herrick Ave Park & Ride.🥯Come early at 8:45am and enjoy breakfast kindly donated by Los Bagels, and coffee donated by Vero Fiber. When you arrive, you will need to sign in and get supplies.📷 We always end with a group photo and raffle! Want to donate? Dual-resident painter and San Francisco Art Institute alum Patricia Schaefer- Robbins will debut a concurrent solo exhibitions at Nous Restaurant.
The exhibition brings a unique global perspective to Ashland’s art scene. Splitting time betweenstudios in Ashland and London, England, Schaefer-Robbins uses oil and acrylic to weave togetherbotanical themes, still life, pagan traditions, and ancient lore.
At Nous Restaurant, visitors will get an exclusive look at mythical and ritualistic works, including"Offering," and pieces from an ambitious new series of larger-scale panels exploring goddessmythology, such as "Court of the Autumn Equinox" and "Song of the Green Woods."

American Legion Grants Pass Post 28 located at 206 NW F St @ 5th St, is having 9-Ball Tournaments every Sunday, starting May 10, at 1:00pm. Standard rules, with a $5.00 buy in for 5 rounds.
There will be food and drinks available for sale.
