During the outdoor season, we host up to three markets a week for the best access to the incredible bounty our bioregion has to offer.

First Friday Bike Rides are family-friendly bike rides for people of all ages and abilities. We celebrate every first Friday, all year long, Ashland’s future where it is safe, convenient and efficient to bicycle for short in-town trips from anywhere to everywhere. Starting May 3, the heart of downtown Ashland will be home to the Saturday Market, running every Saturday until October 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the 100 block of Oak St. This exclusive one block long market provides healthy options, fresh organic produce, artisan foods, and more every week for the locals and travelers passing through. We encourage everyone to join us in supporting local while cultivating community in Southern Oregon.

Join us to celebrate the release of Alice Di Micele's 18th album "Reverse the Flow" and help support the Williams Community Pre-school. The School will serve dinner at 6pm and all of those proceeds along with some of the profit from ticket sales will go to support the school. Join SOCB as we celebrate America and our Veterans, who have served to preserve the freedoms we cherish in these United States. Included on the program are “Armed Forces Salute” arranged by Robert Lowden, “America the Beautiful” arranged by Carmen Dragon; there are three Marches on the Program: “Americans We” by Henery Fillmore, “Hail to the Spirit of Liberty” by Sousa and “The Spirit of Liberty” by Sammy Nestico. We remember our Vietnam Vets with music of their era “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” Medley. Also on the program are “American Civil War Fantasy” by Jerry H Bilik, “…has ingeniously woven together fragments of well-known melodies of the era, vividly depicting the anticipation of war, the devastation of battle, and the emergence of a healing nation, strong and united” and “Freedom Road” by James Curnow; a musical depiction of the hard and often wrought with struggle that is the Freedom Road.
