Wednesday evenings during Lent, from February 25 through March 25, there will be 5 p.m. Evening Prayer in the Church, followed by a potluck soup supper and book discussion in the Parish Hall from 5:30-6:15 pm. This year, the book that will be read and discussed is Grounded in God. You can order it from Bloomsbury Books (541/488-0129) and receive a book club discount. Trinity is Book Club #7. Please allow a couple of weeks for delivery. It is also available on the internet. (ex. Amazon has it athttps://www.amazon.com/Grounded-God-Revised-Discernment-Deliberations/dp/0819218359.) If you can, please come to the first meeting having read the Introduction and Chapter 1.

Trinity Ashland will offer the devotional practice of the Stations of the Cross on Fridays 2/20/26 to 3/27/26 beginning at 12:00 noon in the sanctuary. We will be using the Episcopal Book of Occasional Services. The text of The Way of the Cross is found on pg. 55. A Presentation on the movement to bring back good fire in our region with Margo Robbins of the Cultural Fire Management Council and Michelle Hernandez, co-artistic director of the play "Wusatoumuduk: We Make It Burn. Margo Robbins and Michelle Hernandez will discuss their connection to cultural fire, and how it has cared for the land and sustained culture for millenia. All are welcome to experience the joy of folk dancing, and enjoy wonderful live music this Friday in North bend. The North Bend Public Library, in partnership with the South Coast Folk Society, invites everyone to join the fun starting at 6:00 Friday evening, January 9th, in their Activity Room. This is the first in a series, so you don’t want to miss it. Folk Dance Night at the Library will be a regular monthly offering every second Friday at 6:00.
This free, social gathering is open to new and experienced dancers. Dance to live music from around the world played by skilled local musicians. Beautiful, beginner-friendly dances will be taught throughout the evening. They are fun to do, and easy to learn. If you can walk, you can folk dance, and folk dancing is so much more fun. Don’t be shy, give it a try.
There’s plenty of room for dancing in the spacious, newly remodeled, North Bend Library Activity Room. And, there is room to sit and enjoy live music when you take a moment to rest. Plus there will be refreshments available during the band break.This is an alcohol-free and fragrance-free public event. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
