The exhibition brings a unique global perspective to Ashland’s art scene. Splitting time between
studios in Ashland and London, England, Schaefer-Robbins uses oil and acrylic to weave together
botanical themes, still life, pagan traditions, and ancient lore.

At Nous Restaurant, visitors will get an exclusive look at mythical and ritualistic works, including
"Offering," and pieces from an ambitious new series of larger-scale panels exploring goddess
mythology, such as "Court of the Autumn Equinox" and "Song of the Green Woods."

Help Create a Mural At ScienceWorks!

ScienceWorks is creating a new mural on the Walker Avenue side of the museum, & we want you to help create it!

During our Books & Brews Nostalgic Book Fair, community members will throw paint-filled balloons at the museum wall, laying the colorful foundation for a permanent mural inspired by patterns in nature. It’s a fundraiser for ScienceWorks & a chance for our community to create something together.

Get hands-on, have some fun, & help create a mural our whole community can enjoy!

Rediscover the magic of the Book Fair at Books & Brews, a celebration of stories, creativity, and community for all ages. Browse books and comics, meet local authors, discover independent booksellers, and swap an old favorite for something new-to-you. Enjoy hands-on activities, test your skills with a crossword workshop, and explore a vibrant lineup of community partners and vendors. Adults can relax with a glass of wine or cider while families enjoy food, fun, and plenty of opportunities to spark their curiosity. Come relive the nostalgia of book fairs past—and make some new memories along the way!

A Nostalgic Book Fair

The 2026 WomanKind Biennial, on view September 18 through October 30, brings together 25 local women artists, nonprofit organizations, women-owned and local businesses, and Jackson County Library Services for a community-based contemporary art project connecting visual art with women's causes, cultural exchange and direct community action.
Public is welcome to join for the artist & sponsor panel discussion from 1-3pm on September 26th, 2026.
The public is encouraged to bring period products for the domestic violence shelter and nonperishable food for the ACCESS food drive. Period-product donations will become part of an evolving sculptural installation during the exhibition and will ultimately be donated to the shelter through Women Entrepreneurs of Southern Oregon (WESO).

The Peace n' Quilts Quilting Group is a place for those who love to sew and create to meet. Open to all 18 and up, come with your own sewing machine or work by hand.
