1st annual Upper Rogue River derby! Drift boats, kayaks, and inflatable kayaks welcome. Timed race along the Rogue ending with a concert and after party. Cash and other prizes, bragging rights on "Derby cup" trophy. For more information or to register email driftboatderby@gmail.com.

Inflatable kayaks launch from the fish hatchery at 2:30 pm and drift boats launch from Casey Park at 3:00 pm. There will be volunteers to mark start and end times for the race. Then join the party at Riverside Restaurant & Bar.

Everyone is welcome to join the derby party festivities to cheer racers and enjoy a live band, games, and food! Make an afternoon and evening of it and stay for all the fun on the river and off!

The 2022 farmers market season opens in Siskiyou County Monday, May 16, from 3:30 to 6 pm on East Castle Street in downtown Mount Shasta. Mount Shasta Farmers’ Market is committed to providing a convenient way for community members to buy food directly from growers and producers in a beautiful outdoor setting with live music. An increasing variety of fresh produce, meats, plants, starts, baked goods, spring rolls, tamales, crafts and more will be available every Monday afternoon (except July 4th) until mid-October. MSFM is a Certified Farmers Market that offers free Market Match vouchers to spend on vegetables and fruit, up to $20 per market day, for CalFresh customers who purchase at least $20 in EBT tokens. American Legion Grants Pass Post 28 is having 3-Ball Tournaments starting on Mondays.

Triangle racked 3-Ball, bar rules, with a $5.00 buy in for 5 rounds. 206 NW F St, Grants Pass. 541-474-6400. There will be food and drinks available for sale. Tournaments will continue on Monday nights as long there is interest in them.

Serving Tacos choice of Beef or Chicken and dress them how you like with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and onions.

We have a wide assortment of food available. Bags with staple items are pre-filled, but we will gladly add any special requests if they are available. When you visit, there is always a simple lunch. On the last Wednesday of every month, we serve a pretty darned good hot meal with salad and a huge table filled with pies and desserts. We call it a community lunch. All are welcomed.

Starting May 3, the heart of downtown Ashland will be home to the Saturday Market, running every Saturday until October 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the 100 block of Oak St. This exclusive one block long market provides healthy options, fresh organic produce, artisan foods, and more every week for the locals and travelers passing through. We encourage everyone to join us in supporting local while cultivating community in Southern Oregon.
