Relationship Recovery is a community-based non-profit organization located in Grants Pass, Oregon, dedicated to supporting individuals navigating the complexities of grief and trauma. Our mission is to provide a compassionate and understanding environment where men and women can find solace and the tools necessary to move forward in their healing journey. We have developed a comprehensive program consisting of four classes, each designed to address different stages and aspects of the healing journey.
Support - Meet others with a story to tell and realize that you are not a failure, and more importantly, you are not alone.
Transitions - After telling your story, it’s time to transition from the past and learn from it, forming a new "normal".
Boundaries - Figure out what an appropriate boundary is for family, friends, significant others, and even yourself.
Rebuilding - Work on building better relationships and a whole new life.

We have a wide assortment of food available. Bags with staple items are pre-filled, but we will gladly add any special requests if they are available. When you visit, there is always a simple lunch. On the last Wednesday of every month, we serve a pretty darned good hot meal with salad and a huge table filled with pies and desserts. We call it a community lunch. All are welcomed.

As part of this year’s James M Collier New Works Festival, composers Peter Relph and Jodi French explore the idea of transformation from discord into harmony in two commissioned premieres. The text of Relph’s “To the End in Songs” moves from a state of searching restlessness towards a state of peace. Jodi French’s “The Stranger Among You” is an exploration of home and belonging.
French’s work is inspired by Oregon Poet Laureate Lawson Inada. Both works are set for choir and orchestra and will feature internationally-renowned baritone soloist Christopheren Nomura. Both composers will be available for a brief Q & A following the concert.

Imagine your life without a smart phone—or for that matter any phone at all. What about no computer or internet connection? TV or radio? Time travel with Historic Jacksonville, Inc. back to 1900 for a “retro” tour of “Daily Life Then and Now: 1900 vs. 2026.” Guided 45-minute tours compare the differences in communication, fashion, etiquette, entertainment, chores, household “amenities,” and much more – things we take for granted like electricity, running water, and…bathrooms! Tours begin every 20-30 minutes between 12n and 3pm at the 1870s C.C. Beekman House, located at 470 E. California Street in Jacksonville, Oregon. Tour admission is $8 (cash or check at the door). You’ll find more information at https://historicjacksonville.org/then-and-now/. All proceeds go towards maintenance of Jacksonville’s historic buildings and the programs and events that bring them to life and make them relevant for people today.

“These are the men who put brass music on the map with their unbeatable blend of virtuosity, spontaneity and humor.” Washington Post
Chamber Music Concerts (CMC) presents the Canadian Brass on Sunday, May 17 at 3pm at the Southern Oregon University Music Recital Hall, 450 S Mountain Ave, Ashland, OR. Purchase tickets at ChamberMusicConcerts.org or call 541-552-6154.
With an international reputation as one of the most popular brass ensembles today, Canadian Brass has truly earned the distinction of “the world’s most famous brass group.” Canadian has appeared on The Tonight Show, Today, Entertainment Tonight, and recently to more than 1/2 a billion viewers for Chinese New Year on China’s most popular station. They have appeared as guest artists on Evening at Pops with John Williams and the Boston Pops, Beverly Sills’ Music Around the World, numerous PBS specials, and a celebrated appearance on Sesame Street.
Masters of concert presentations since 1970, Canadian Brass has developed a uniquely engaging stage presence and rapport with audiences. Each of their concerts show a full range of repertoire, from their trademark Baroque and Dixieland tunes to new compositions and arrangements created especially for them — formal classical presentations served up with lively dialogue and theatrical effects. Whatever the style, the music is central and performed with utmost dedication, skill and excellence.
Concert tickets are $49/59, with discounts available for full-time students and Oregon Trail Card holders. Purchase online at ChamberMusicConcerts.org or by calling 541-552-6154.
