Corey Murphy grew up in Klamath Falls. His father was one of thousands who emigrated from Ireland to Oregon in the mid-19th and -20th centuries, seeking work as sheepherders and cowboys. Today, Murphy studies, arranges and performs songs related to the Irish diaspora in South Central Oregon.
