This small group personal training program is designed for groups of 8-10, offering the benefits of personal training in a group setting.
All fitness levels welcome, though you will need to be able to get up and down from the floor without assistance. A combination of weight training, balance exercises and some cardio with functional lifelong wellness in mind. Benefits include prevention of osteoporosis by stimulating the growth of muscle and bone, mental and emotional health, improved immune system, and most importantly lower risk of falls, metabolic diseases and cognitive decline.
Starting May 3, the heart of downtown Ashland will be home to the Saturday Market, running every Saturday until October 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the 100 block of Oak St. This exclusive one block long market provides healthy options, fresh organic produce, artisan foods, and more every week for the locals and travelers passing through. We encourage everyone to join us in supporting local while cultivating community in Southern Oregon.

Join Siskiyou Land Trust (SLT), California Native Plant Society (CNPS), and the Mount Shasta Bioregional Ecology Center (MSBEC) for a day of exploration at SLT's Luginbuhl Ranch Preserve, a 320-acre property at the intersection of the Upper Sacramento and Shasta River headwaters. This headwaters forest is not just a piece of property though - it is a living legacy of local conservation and stewardship. We'll enjoy guided walks by SLT staff and interpreters followed by a continuation of our bioblitz, cataloging species on iNaturalist. At noon, we'll meet back at the Luginbuhl Cottage for a small BBQ (hot dogs/burgers/veggie options and their fixings).
Registration is now open for the 6th Annual Southern Oregon Brokers Golf Tournament benefiting Magdalene Home.
Join us for a fun-filled day of golf in support of a meaningful cause. All proceeds help provide safe, supportive housing for homeless teen girls who are pregnant, parenting, or considering adoption.
Enjoy a 4-person scramble with golf, cart, green fees, practice balls, lunch, on-course games, raffles, and prizes included. Fee is $150 for individuals or $550 per team.

Sound Advice! is a free monthly, peer to peer, and hands-on introduction to hearing loops put on by The Shedd’s Hearing Loop Committee. Practice using your hearing aid or cochlear implant to access hearing loops to dramatically improve hearing accessibility in both public and personal settings. Theatres, including The Shedd, Florence Event Center, Cottage Theatre, and the Liberty Theatre are looped. Many houses of worship are looped. Eugene Airport and the Library are looped. Small loops can be installed at any reception desk or checkout counter. Loops can be portable to take with you to hear better in many settings. TV rooms, computers, taxi cabs, buses, and even outdoor events can be looped. Come join friends with hearing loss to learn about this important and universal technology. Friends and family are encouraged to attend!

Beginning May 3, come experience the history, flora and fauna of Lithia park in a guided tour led by knowledgeable and passionate volunteers.
Walks run every Saturday morning at 10:00am, May through September. Walks last 90 minutes, are FREE of charge, and are open to locals and visitors alike. Please meet your guide at the front entrance of Lithia Park across from the Plaza.
This program has been running since 1989, and is a fantastic way to immerse yourself in Ashland's crown jewel.
