The award-winning OSU Land Steward training helps landowners learn about their property and develop a management plan. This 11-week program covers critical topics like wildfire risk reduction, forests, soil health, wildlife habitat, pasture management, stream care, water capture and distribution, and much more.

This class will present an intuitive approach to drawing the nude human figure. We will work from the model, incorporating gesture, observation and imagination to create drawings that enhance and develop your own creative style. Beginners as well as those with experience are welcome. In addition to doing exercises in class, we will look at great drawings of the past to discern the elements that make up their beauty. I will be available to offer guidance and direction as needed, and even homework if you desire.

Parent Project is a 10-week series where we go over topics like improving family relationships, using effective discipline to improve school attendance and performance, reduce substance use and negative peer influences, and how to address destructive behavior. It is an opportunity to meet with other parents in similar situations in a judgement free zone and begin to develop a new support system. SOCAN’s September general public meeting from 6:00 – 7:30 on Tuesday September 30th at the Medford Public Library, 205 S. Central Avenue, will focus on what CUB is doing. The program will feature David Betrán Barajas, Community Organizer, and Jennifer Hill-Hart, Policy & Program Director. During the program, they will discuss what is CUB and identify recent legislative and utility policy wins they have enjoyed, notably the POWER Act, Avista Gas wins, and FAIR Energy Act. They will also preview anticipated CUB campaigns.

Each Wednesday from noon to 1:00 pm, the KSC Sanctuary will be open to all for meditation. We invite you to come and meditate quietly in your own way.
We have a wide assortment of food available. Bags with staple items are pre-filled, but we will gladly add any special requests if they are available. When you visit, there is always a simple lunch. On the last Wednesday of every month, we serve a pretty darned good hot meal with salad and a huge table filled with pies and desserts. We call it a community lunch. All are welcomed.
