Discover the joy of music in this engaging class designed for children 0-5 and their caregivers. This class combines singing, rhythm, movement and sign language. Get ready to sing beloved songs from around the world and make music together in this weekly class! Sponsored by Jackson Care Connect. (Ages 0-5 with accompanying adult -$5 per child ) This class repeats weekly on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Instructor Bio: Laurie Finear has been a music teacher in the Rogue Valley for over 15 years as a certified Music Together teacher. She now creates and teaches her own music classes for children and their caregivers in Ashland and Jacksonville. She is passionate about sharing the joy of music with children and families.

The 2022 farmers market season opens in Siskiyou County Monday, May 16, from 3:30 to 6 pm on East Castle Street in downtown Mount Shasta. Mount Shasta Farmers’ Market is committed to providing a convenient way for community members to buy food directly from growers and producers in a beautiful outdoor setting with live music. An increasing variety of fresh produce, meats, plants, starts, baked goods, spring rolls, tamales, crafts and more will be available every Monday afternoon (except July 4th) until mid-October. MSFM is a Certified Farmers Market that offers free Market Match vouchers to spend on vegetables and fruit, up to $20 per market day, for CalFresh customers who purchase at least $20 in EBT tokens. Heralded as one of Austin’s rising stars and a legend in the making, Jackie Venson has established herself as one of the most commanding performers to come out of Texas. Whether it’s Texas blues, eclectic electro-funk and rock, or deep soul, Venson is a memorizing artist.
MOTHS was founded in 1992 and has grown to become one of the premier summer music events in the Pacific Northwest. The free series is held on Tuesday evenings at Nichols Band Shell on the Umpqua River in Stewart Park, in beautiful Roseburg.

This year’s line-up of eight shows begins on June 23rd. Each of these family friendly concerts are from 7:00-9:00pm.

The Ashland City Band begins their 2026 season at the bandshell in Lithia Park, June 18, at 7:00 PM. The free concerts will be presented every Thursday through August 20. With roots dating back to 1876, the 70-member band has continued its park concerts since the early 1920s and is Southern Oregon’s oldest performing-arts organization. The band plays a variety of original works, transcriptions, marches and musicals, often featuring a guest soloist or ensemble. The Ashland Lions Club will again sell ice cream bars and donate the proceeds to the band programs at Ashland Middle School and High School.

From Portland, here comes the costumed psychedelic punk rock marching band circus troupe. M4’s show features such an amazing eclectic blend of music and performance that include percussion corps, a 7-horn part horn section, dancers, acrobatics, andstilt walkers. It is an evening of high energy and pure fun.

All are welcome to experience the joy of folk dancing, and enjoy wonderful live music Friday, March 13, and every second Friday throughout the year, in North Bend. The North Bend Public Library invites everyone to join the fun starting at 6:00 Friday evening in their newly remodeled Activity Room. This is a special series of free public dances. Folk Dance Night at the Library will be a regular monthly gathering every second Friday at 6:00. New dancers are always welcome. Call 541-404-8267.
