Starting May 3, the heart of downtown Ashland will be home to the Saturday Market, running every Saturday until October 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the 100 block of Oak St. This exclusive one block long market provides healthy options, fresh organic produce, artisan foods, and more every week for the locals and travelers passing through. We encourage everyone to join us in supporting local while cultivating community in Southern Oregon.

American Legion Grants Pass Post 28 is having a Chili Cook Off on Saturday, January 10. Pre-register by calling Frankie Hartsfield-Pearson at 541-450-5867 to add your Chili to the cook off list. Bring your finished Chili in a crockpot, with a list of ingredients, to 206 NW F St Grants Pass, and watch the wild card playoff games.Tastings are from 10am to 2pm, and the winner will be announced at 4pm.

We have a wide assortment of food available. Bags with staple items are pre-filled, but we will gladly add any special requests if they are available. When you visit, there is always a simple lunch. On the last Wednesday of every month, we serve a pretty darned good hot meal with salad and a huge table filled with pies and desserts. We call it a community lunch. All are welcomed.

American Legion Grants Pass Post 28 is having 8-Ball Tournaments starting on Wednesday, January 14, at 6pm. Straight 8-Ball, bar rules, with a $5.00 buy in. 206 NW F St, Grants Pass. 541-474-6400. There will be food and drinks available for sale. Tournaments will continue on Wednesday nights as long there is interest in them.

Join us for an evening of Scottish tradition and celebration in honor of Scotland’s national bard, Robert Burns. Begin the evening at 5pm with hors d’oeuvre and cocktail hour, followed by a banquet style meal featuring the iconic haggis, neeps and tatties, Collin skink soup, and more—prepared by Chefs Hilary Cano and Karissa Hughes of The Beatrice.
Entertainment will include poetry readings and music, performed by the Jefferson Pipe Band and special guests and musicians, including Pat O’Scannell, Jim Finnegan, and Lumina’s Heart.
A cash bar will be available throughout the evening. Semi-formal attire—wear your tartan and kilts!
