We have a wide assortment of food available. Bags with staple items are pre-filled, but we will gladly add any special requests if they are available. When you visit, there is always a simple lunch. On the last Wednesday of every month, we serve a pretty darned good hot meal with salad and a huge table filled with pies and desserts. We call it a community lunch. All are welcomed.

Come join us for cribbage. We are part of the American Cribbage Congress (ACC) and play 9 games of competitive cribbage every Wednesday night from September-May. $10 buy in, and we payout on the top scorecards.

Starting May 3, the heart of downtown Ashland will be home to the Saturday Market, running every Saturday until October 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the 100 block of Oak St. This exclusive one block long market provides healthy options, fresh organic produce, artisan foods, and more every week for the locals and travelers passing through. We encourage everyone to join us in supporting local while cultivating community in Southern Oregon.

The 2022 farmers market season opens in Siskiyou County Monday, May 16, from 3:30 to 6 pm on East Castle Street in downtown Mount Shasta. Mount Shasta Farmers’ Market is committed to providing a convenient way for community members to buy food directly from growers and producers in a beautiful outdoor setting with live music. An increasing variety of fresh produce, meats, plants, starts, baked goods, spring rolls, tamales, crafts and more will be available every Monday afternoon (except July 4th) until mid-October. MSFM is a Certified Farmers Market that offers free Market Match vouchers to spend on vegetables and fruit, up to $20 per market day, for CalFresh customers who purchase at least $20 in EBT tokens. First Friday Bike Rides are family-friendly bike rides for people of all ages and abilities. We celebrate every first Friday, all year long, Ashland’s future where it is safe, convenient and efficient to bicycle for short in-town trips from anywhere to everywhere. Sound Advice! is a free monthly, peer to peer, and hands-on introduction to hearing loops put on by The Shedd’s Hearing Loop Committee. Practice using your hearing aid or cochlear implant to access hearing loops to dramatically improve hearing accessibility in both public and personal settings. Theatres, including The Shedd, Florence Event Center, Cottage Theatre, and the Liberty Theatre are looped. Many houses of worship are looped. Eugene Airport and the Library are looped. Small loops can be installed at any reception desk or checkout counter. Loops can be portable to take with you to hear better in many settings. TV rooms, computers, taxi cabs, buses, and even outdoor events can be looped. Come join friends with hearing loss to learn about this important and universal technology. Friends and family are encouraged to attend!
