This August, Kagyu Sukha Chöling begins a 2-month open community peace meditation; an invitation to join us over four Sundays this summer. Come join us in our serene sanctuary from 9:30-10:30 AM on Sundays August 3 & 17, September 7 & 21, where we will hold space for the contemplation of peace in all areas of our lives. There is no charge; KSC is dedicated to welcoming and supporting individuals at any stage of their spiritual journeys.
Beginning May 3, come experience the history, flora and fauna of Lithia park in a guided tour led by knowledgeable and passionate volunteers.
Walks run every Saturday morning at 10:00am, May through September. Walks last 90 minutes, are FREE of charge, and are open to locals and visitors alike. Please meet your guide at the front entrance of Lithia Park across from the Plaza.
This program has been running since 1989, and is a fantastic way to immerse yourself in Ashland's crown jewel.

No clothing style in history is as popular as Victorian Era fashion! View and learn about the evolution of Victorian style between 12n and 3pm on September 20 and 21, when Historic Jacksonville, Inc. offers “The Well Dressed Victorian” tours at the 1870s Beekman House Museum, located at 470 E. California Street in Jacksonville. Docents and mannequins will be showcasing styles from the 1850s through the early 1900s, reflecting the changes in fashion over the 60 years of Queen Victoria’s reign. Each room will feature appropriate attire for a day’s typical activities including fashions for social calls, travel, formal dinners, mourning, country outings, servants’ chores, undergarments, and more. This was a unique period in history—and fashion history—and these 1-hour tours provide an opportunity to explore aspects of it. Tours begin every 20 minutes and cost $10; reservations are encouraged. Huzzah! It's a Renaissance Faire at the Medford Library! Join us for an all-day event happening one time only. Open to all ages, E.L.F. (Enchanted Library Faire) will feature combat demonstrations, live music in the style of traditional Renaissance performance, a costume contest, face painting, book-inspired fortune telling, a scavenger hunt, personalized bookmarks, a fairy garden, a chance to meet the library queen and king, and much more! No weapons allowed. Any props resembling weapons will be inspected upon entrance for safety. Alcohol is prohibited, but a magical mocktail will be available while supplies last.
