Welcome to the Winter of Rebellion
Our after-hours speakeasy-style series where wine flows, jazz smolders, and comedy keeps things dangerously fun through the winter months. We’re hosting a rotating lineup of intimate nights filled with live jazz, stand-up comedy, and that underground energy you didn’t know you needed this season.
Each evening has its own personality — some nights smooth and soulful, others laugh-out-loud ridiculous — but every night will be one to remember!
Here’s how it works
Show up hungry and ready to relax into sultry jazz music or to laugh so hard you have to try not to spit your wine everywhere.
Comedy Nights
A ticket price of $25 per person will be charged at the door on comedy nights to support our local artists. Please no children. 21+ only. These jokes will not be family friendly.
Jazz Nights
Jazz nights are free to attend. These nights are meant for everyone. Perfect for families.
Reservations are appreciated. Walk-ins are always welcome

The Eureka Chamber Music Series has enjoyed presenting many vocal concerts over the years, often featuring promising young opera singers from the training grounds of San Francisco's impressive opera scene. This season, ECMS presents two singers who are well into brilliant professional careers, mezzo-soprano Laura Krumm and baritone Simon Barrad, joined by the superb collaborative pianist and composer Eric Zivian. They will perform two different sets of repertoire composed expressly for voice and piano, helping us bring the light into the new year with a program titled "Tears of Gold." This will be an exceptional evening of music.

Begin the new year clear, calm and connected. This deeply restful Yoga Nidrasession is inspired by the Hawaiian practice of Ho’oponopono. Through guided relaxation and the four healing phases – Thank You, I Love You, Forgive Me, I’m Sorry – participants are invited into inner clarity, emotional release and heart centered stillness. Perfect for all levels – no experience necessary. What to bring: a yoga mat or comfortable surface to lie down; a cozy blanket or pillow for added comfort; an open heart and mind ready to embrace the magic of the season. This class is suitable for all levels, and no prior yoga experience is required.
Instructor Bio: Darby is a Certified Yoga Nidra Teacher of Bihar School of Yoga, Bali, Indonesia. The Siskiyou Chapter looks forward to its first meeting of the year on Sunday, January 11th (next Sunday) in Lidgate Hall. I (Kathleen Pyle, program Chairperson) will present the program, "Three Women in the 'Land of Little Rain'." It's based on last summer's trip to the Owens Valley/Bishop area and my visit to the very small town of Independence, California. In Independence, I heard the stories of three remarkable women who made significant contributions to botany, literature and geology. My program describes the lives and achievements of each woman, set against a backdrop of mountains, ranch land, water wars, indigenous people and mining. Native plants are also part of the story.
