H.C. McEntire Live Session Friday, March 22nd at Noon

Mar 4, 2019

On Friday, March 22nd at Noon, JPR will broadcast a live session with H.C. McEntire on Open Air.

H.C. McEntire, frontwoman of Mount Moriah, struck out on her own with her debut solo album Lionheart. Stereogum describes her voice as “weary, wise, and bright as morning sunshine all at once,” and that sunshine glows throughout the triumphant Lionheart.

For the album, McEntire collaborated with many of her favorite musicians, including Kathleen Hanna, Angel Olsen, Amy Ray, Tift Merritt, William Tyler, Mary Lattimore, and Phil Cook, while remaining bravely devoted to her most authentic self throughout the process.

Tune in Friday, March 2nd at Noon for a live session with H.C. McEntire on JPR's Rhythm & News Service. To listen online, click the "Listen Live" link at the top of the page and select "Rhythm & News."
