JPR Live Session: Carolina Story

Ways To Subscribe

The Nashville husband-wife duo joined us to share songs from their new album called Dandelion.

Carolina Story first came together back in 2009, but after years of performing and touring the country, Ben and Emily Roberts took some time off to start a family.

The duo returned in a big way in 2017 with the album Lay Your Head Down, which cherry picked the very best tunes from Carolina Story's songbook. But by the time that album was released, Carolina Story was already working on their next project. Their new release, Dandelion, pushed them into areas now yet explored, with a heavier sound of electric guitars and powerful drums propelling the duo.

Now settled into a comfy country home outside of Nashville, Carolina Story has been spending time during the pandemic enjoying family life and all it has to offer.

They talked about their origin story and performed a few tunes from the new album for us as an acoustic duo.
