These small gatherings are for those who practice or would like to learn about Christian contemplative, or mystical, spirituality. The meetings are open to the public, educational, supportive, and non-dogmatic, but we are currently meeting in the Ashland Public Library's Guanajuato Room, which has limited space. The award-winning OSU Land Steward training helps landowners learn about their property and develop a management plan. This 11-week program covers critical topics like wildfire risk reduction, forests, soil health, wildlife habitat, pasture management, stream care, water capture and distribution, and much more.
ANPF will be presenting dramatic readings of 4 new plays for our 2025 Fall Festival: "Tipping Point" by Naya James Sonnad, "In Case of Bruising" by Kamila Boga, "Pretend It's Pretend" by Emma Watkins, and "Better" by Vince Gatton. All performances will take place at SOU's Main Stage Theatre, located at 491 S. Mountain Ave., Ashland. Each performance will be followed by a talkback with the playwright. The 2022 farmers market season opens in Siskiyou County Monday, May 16, from 3:30 to 6 pm on East Castle Street in downtown Mount Shasta. Mount Shasta Farmers’ Market is committed to providing a convenient way for community members to buy food directly from growers and producers in a beautiful outdoor setting with live music. An increasing variety of fresh produce, meats, plants, starts, baked goods, spring rolls, tamales, crafts and more will be available every Monday afternoon (except July 4th) until mid-October.
