The Humboldt Folk Dancers invite the public to a live music, International Folk Dance Party, Friday, November 7 from 8 to 10:30 p.m. at the Redwood Raks World Dance Studio, 824 L Street, in the Creamery District in Arcata. The event features easy dances and an evening of international music with Chubritza. Cost is $5-10 sliding scale, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. On Saturday, May 2nd from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, browse a wide assortment of treasures at 1497 E Main St—everything from kids’ toys, games, and books to clothing, kitchenware, and household items. You never know what you’re going to find!

Enjoy fresh coffee and pastries from Bar Juliet, grab a bite from local food trucks, and stop by our greenhouse to shop a selection of plants.

All proceeds support academic programming at Willow Wind Community Learning Center. Come shop, snack, and support a great cause!

Starting May 3, the heart of downtown Ashland will be home to the Saturday Market, running every Saturday until October 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the 100 block of Oak St. This exclusive one block long market provides healthy options, fresh organic produce, artisan foods, and more every week for the locals and travelers passing through. We encourage everyone to join us in supporting local while cultivating community in Southern Oregon.

Jackson County Master Gardener™ Association is proud to announce the 2026 Spring Garden Fair. This is the largest gardening event in Southern Oregon, and this year we are even bigger with vendors in the Mace and Padgham Buildings! We will be selling plants grown by our Master Gardener student volunteers, including a wide variety of vegetables, herbs, and flowers, as well as a large selection of native plants from our Native Plant Nursery. There will be local nurseries and businesses for all things garden related, children’s activities, a snack bar, and food Demonstration from Master Food Preservers. As always, Master Gardeners will be available to answer all your gardening questions.

Sparking Action! invites all ages to explore the science of fire, wildfire prevention, and how Rogue Valley communities are working together for a healthier, more resilient future.

Presented by the Southern Oregon Forest Restoration Collaborative (SOFRC) and partners, this free event features live fire science demonstrations in the ScienceWorks Dome and hands-on preparedness activities. Learn how slope, fuel density, moisture, and wind impact flame height and severity.

A fun, inclusive, community-centered, hands-on music experience for all ages.

There’s so much to explore—from learning how to DJ and trying out instruments at the 'petting zoo' to enjoying a silent disco, musical arts and crafts, and interactive story time with music.

The event will also feature a sensory-friendly Zen Zone, demonstration music lessons for different age groups, refreshments, and more.
