Jackson County Master Gardener™ Association is proud to announce the 2026 Spring Garden Fair. This is the largest gardening event in Southern Oregon, and this year we are even bigger with vendors in the Mace and Padgham Buildings! We will be selling plants grown by our Master Gardener student volunteers, including a wide variety of vegetables, herbs, and flowers, as well as a large selection of native plants from our Native Plant Nursery. There will be local nurseries and businesses for all things garden related, children’s activities, a snack bar, and food Demonstration from Master Food Preservers. As always, Master Gardeners will be available to answer all your gardening questions.

Sparking Action! invites all ages to explore the science of fire, wildfire prevention, and how Rogue Valley communities are working together for a healthier, more resilient future.
Presented by the Southern Oregon Forest Restoration Collaborative (SOFRC) and partners, this free event features live fire science demonstrations in the ScienceWorks Dome and hands-on preparedness activities. Learn how slope, fuel density, moisture, and wind impact flame height and severity.
Heron’s Flight is a 5k Run/Walk and Wellness Fair that promotes health, connects families to local wellness providers, and raises funds for The Carmen Bernal Compassionate Nursing Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded to students in Douglas County pursuing a degree in nursing.
A fun, inclusive, community-centered, hands-on music experience for all ages.
There’s so much to explore—from learning how to DJ and trying out instruments at the 'petting zoo' to enjoying a silent disco, musical arts and crafts, and interactive story time with music.
The event will also feature a sensory-friendly Zen Zone, demonstration music lessons for different age groups, refreshments, and more.

The Best of the Best features high school students from Southern Oregon. The show is juried on who gets to show their art; each school is allowed 10 projects. Once the museum puts the art on display a committee of local artists judge the art for 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Show is up until May 5th. Come down and show these young artists your support.

Every visit, donation, and shared moment helps us continue providing compassionate care to the animals who call the sanctuary home.
Classical guitarist Jason Wolverton and Jazz vocalist Vanessa Finney play Brazilian standards and the American songbook. Jason is known for his work with the trio Tres Palomas, and Vanessa was recently honored as a singer in the Jazz band category by Sneak Preview readers.
