Jacob Jolliff is one of the world’s premier contemporary mandolinists. He and his Jacob Jolliff band are a cutting-edge progressive bluegrass groups. They play a combination of complex original instrumental music and vocal repertoire that spans from traditional bluegrass to unlikely pop covers. Improvisation and the ensemble interplay are at the forefront. They’ve released three albums, the most recent of which, “Instrumentals, Vol. 2: Mandolin Mysteries,” May 2024.

Marly Benedicto explores how the Divine Feminine Success Codes are lived through the body – in voice, intimacy and authentic relationships. What does it mean to redefine success through feminine cycles of creativity and nourishment? How can voice activation help us reclaim power and deepen intimacy? She helps individuals and couples dissolve patterns rooted in trauma or cultural conditioning and step into relationships that honor their wholeness. With a gentle style, intuitive yet uncompromisingly clear, Marly meets each client where they are and guides them toward the love and intimacy they most desire.

Marly Benedicto is a relationship coach and writer devoted to helping people reclaim intimacy, and awaken the fullness of their creative, embodied selves. Whether guiding a client through an intimacy breakthrough or designing community-based regenerative projects, she inculcates truth, freedom and helping people remember that love is something we generate, embody and share as the foundation for a new world.

Discover the joy of music in this engaging class designed for children ages 2-5 and their caregivers. This class combines rhythm, movemenr and sign language. Get ready to sing beloved songs. Adults are FREE attending with a child/ren).

Open Meditation for All in The Sanctuary
Wednesdays from noon to 1:00 pm

Each Wednesday from noon to 1:00 pm, the KSC Sanctuary will be open to all for meditation. We invite you to come and meditate quietly in your own way.

The award-winning OSU Land Steward training helps landowners learn about their property and develop a management plan. This 11-week program covers critical topics like wildfire risk reduction, forests, soil health, wildlife habitat, pasture management, stream care, water capture and distribution, and much more.

We have a wide assortment of food available. Bags with staple items are pre-filled, but we will gladly add any special requests if they are available. When you visit, there is always a simple lunch. On the last Wednesday of every month, we serve a pretty darned good hot meal with salad and a huge table filled with pies and desserts. We call it a community lunch. All are welcomed.

In this fun, safe “hands-on” science experimentation program, join us in the lab and learn how to extract the color pigment from markers, leaves, and even your favorite Halloween candies. Using paper chromatography we will unravel what colors and dyes make up some of the things we see (and eat) every day.
Ages 6-12 (Parents may drop off or participate for free).

Instructor Bios: Tori Wood is the JCC Volunteer and Facility Coordinator. She has a background in laboratory science and is incredibly excited to help foster a love of science and learning in the community. Sarah Greco is the JCC Youth and Family Programs Coordinator and a Jacksonville mom. With a background in early childhood education and devolopmental psychology, she is passionate about protecting and celebrating childhood and supporting parents in the community.

Siskiyou Land Trust (SLT) will be hosting this event to provide an opportunity for the community in Siskiyou County to learn about potential long-term benefits related to conservation easements (CEs) and ways CEs may assist with ranch planning and stewardship. This event focuses on Agricultural CEs.

You'll hear from SLT staff and some of our landowner partners about how conservation easements work and what protecting their land means for them and their families.

If you or someone you know is interested in learning more about how a CE could benefit you and protect your land for future generations, spread the word and mark your calendars for Wednesday, October 29th at 4 pm. Refreshments will be provided, so bring your questions and join us at the UC Intermountain Research & Extension Center.
