Being prepared for trouble: what to know about the ICU

Just about the last place you want to see someone you love is in the intensive care unit of a hospital.

Dr. Lara Goitein is a physician with extensive ICU experience. She's a writer, too, and her works include the recent The ICU Guide for Families: Understanding Intensive Care and How You Can Support Your Loved One.

The doctor joins us with a glimpse of some ICU basics.
