How climate change reduces resilience in the natural world

The houses and the people are still there, but there's something different about the neighborhood.

That's what humans might say, but this is not a story about humans. It's about ecosystems in the intertidal zones of the Oregon coast.

Researchers from Oregon State University found that the ecosystems and inhabitants are about the same, but the resilience of the ecosystems has been lessened by climate change.

Bruce Menge and Sarah Gravem add details in a visit to the JX.
