jx draw (47).jpg

Health officials have been talking for more than a decade now about the dangers of spending so much time sitting down.

"Sitting is the new smoking" became the slogan for the problems with doing what many of us do: sit at a desk for eight hours a day. You don't have to take up ballet to counteract the effects of sitting, but some ambulation is called for.

The author visits to talk about some of the concepts and their payoffs.
