It was right after July 4th that Oregon's COVID case numbers began heading skyward, ending up at levels not previously seen in the pandemic.
The numbers show a clear downward trend of late, but are only now getting down to the peak of the last wave, last winter. So there's still plenty to discuss in viruses, variants, and vaccines.
