Weekly Q&A: Regional Covid Rates Remain High

COVID-19 patients require a lot of intensive care and monitoring. Patients must be turned and repositioned a minimum of every two hours.
COVID-19 patient.

The numbers of new COVID cases continue to decline in the region, but they never come down as fast as they go up.

California has largely avoided a spike like the one last winter; Oregon's current numbers put it well above that spike.

Our weekly Q&A with public health officials branches out a bit this week. Our guests are Dr. Leona O'Keefe, Deputy Public Health Officer forJosephine County, and Valeree Lane, spokesperson for Klamath County Public Health.

They fill us in on COVID trends in their communities, and answer our questions.
