Society is slowly coming to grips with mental illness and acknowledging that it exists. Some things we still struggle to understand, like the frequent recurrence of mental illness in families.

That's a story Paolina Milana can tell about her own family, and does, in her book Committed: A Memoir of Madness in the Family .
