The concern many of us feel about dementia later in life is shared by Daniel Gibbs. But he knows more about Alzheimer's disease and other dementias, because he's a neurologist formerly working at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland.
So he spent years working with Alzheimer's patients before his own diagnosis, a story he tells in the book A Tattoo on my Brain, written with journalist Teresa Barker.
Dr. Gibbs visits the JX to talk about his experiences as both doctor and patient on Alzheimer's cases.
