Report Examines Funding Problems That Contributed To Pandemic

A ventilator can help patients unable to breathe on their own, but the experience of COVID-19 patients has been sobering for doctors.

We still have not put the COVID-19 pandemic behind us, but the day will assuredly come. Even before that day, there are many questions to be answered about how the pandemic might have been worsened and lengthened by lack of investment in public health.

The Trust for America's Health releases just such a report today (May 7th), called "Underfunding on America’s Public Health System: Trends, Risks, and Recommendations, 2021."

Reps from the organization run down some of the key points in the report.
