Two punches hit Jackson County right in the pandemic in one day: new-case numbers climbed into a danger zone, and Oregon stopped giving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
This week, the county, state, and FEMA open a shared Community Vaccination Center, the Vaccination Equity Center, at the Expo in Central Point. Dr. Jim Shames is the Medical Director at Jackson County Health and Human Services. He visits once a week to catch us up on COVID-19 issues and current concerns.
County Health Promotion Manager Tanya Phillips joins the discussion, along with Jeremy Hollen from FEMA. Ask your question at 800-838-3760 or JX@jeffnet.org.
