6000 shots in three days. That was the plan at the outset of the region's first COVID-19 mass vaccination event, held January 21-23 at the Jackson County Expo Park. The final number was actually higher, thanks to a set of doses provided by one of the event partners.

Jackson County Health and Human Services is one of the entities involved in the event. Dr. Jim Shames is the Medical Director at the agency.

He visits once a week to catch us up on COVID-19 issues and current concerns; he'll catch us up on the results of the three-day clinic. Ask your question at 800-838-3760 or JX@jeffnet.org.
