We could stop burning fossil fuels today and still wait a while--years--to see atmospheric levels decline.

So time is of the essence, and Joshua Goldstein and Staffan Qvist have a plan. It involves a combination of renewable energy and a quick buildout of nuclear power plants.

Their book is A Bright Future: How Some Countries Have Solved Climate Change and the Rest Can Follow.
