Getting Local Businesses Engaged In Reversing Climate Change

The common question when confronting climate change is "what can I do?" The answer does not have to be the answer of an individual or a family or even a government.

Businesses have a major role to play in getting a handle on climate change. And the Businesses Taking Action program at Southern Oregon Climate Action Now (SOCAN) is set up to gauge what businesses are doing to become sustainable, and to help them go further.

Kathy Conway, SOCAN Co-Coordinator, visits with Gabriela Safay, an Oregon State University student studying sustainability and business.
