Oregon COVID-19 cases shot up drastically as October gave way to November, and the governor put several counties in a "pause" for two weeks, placing further restrictions on some social and commercial gatherings.
Jackson County is one of the pause counties, waiting to see if the period brings the high rate of new infections down. Shortly after the "pause" was announced, the governor announced a "freeze" on some activities for the entire state.
