Communities with lots of people of color often bear more exposure to air pollution, from living closer to pollution sources. So it would help to get such communities served by more electric transportation, which does not emit air pollution.
But the same uneven distribution of pollution comes with an uneven distribution of money, making it harder for people to obtain EVs. The National E-Mobility Equity Conference looks for ways to level the field. It is co-sponsored by Oregon-based Forthand EVNoire.
Shelley Francis of EVNoire and Alexa Diaz of Forth visit to discuss E-mobility equity and the conference, which will be held virtually starting tomorrow (November 12th).
