The ruins of a mobile home park in Talent.

Nearly 2,500 places to live vanished in the September fires in Jackson County, a place where it was already hard to find a decent place to live at an affordable price.

A majority of the destroyed homes were manufactured (mobile) homes clustered in mobile home parks. Rogue Valley-based Commercial Property Management managed several of the parks that were destroyed, and has taken steps to see to the safety and security of burned-out tenants.

So this month we turn the focus of our business/entrepreneur segment, The Ground Floor, to CPM. Dave Wright is the CEO of the company, and he joins us with the history and the present attentions of the outfit.

Mentioned on-air: Dave Wright spoke of a GoFundMe campaign to help fire victims.
