Jazz is alive, and played enthusiastically across the country. Even on a big scale: proof comes from right here in the region, from Martin Behnke's Timberline Express Big Band.
The band features two score of some of the most accomplished jazz musicians of the Rogue Valley, playing big-band standards and advancing the genre of big-band jazz as well.
The band's "Late November" gig comes Sunday (November 24th) in Medford. A handful of band members visit the studio to talk music... and absolutely hear some, too.
