EarthFix Puts "Wildlife Detectives" On TV

Oregon State Police
Enforcement officers pose with a sturgeon illegally caught by poachers. The officers' faces are obscured because they were working undercover on a sting that was code-named Operation Broodstock.

Reporters scattered across the Northwest for the series of reports called "Wildlife Detectives."

The radio reports are right here (scroll down), but there's a television component as well.

And let's face it, beetles consuming flesh off the bone is a very visual thing (that happens at the forensics lab in Ashland).

EarthFix reporter Jes Burns and TV Managing Editor/Producer Katie Campbell talk to us about what they saw, and how they bring it to TV.
