Gauging The Impact Of The Trinity Water Releases

Getting more water into the Klamath River system is a little more complicated than opening a valve. 

This year's extra water releases into the Trinity River, a Klamath tributary, were meant to help migrating salmon survive the journey.  But court action held those up for a week. 

Fish are now in the river system, and we'll get an update on the effects of the releases from the Yurok Tribe, which criticized the releases as too little.
