Rebel Heart Books presents the 2nd Annual Local Author Book Fair Saturday, November 8, 1 – 3 at The Jacksonville Library Naversen Room.Back by popular demand, this event is the perfect opportunity to meet over twenty-five of the best local authors in one convenient place! Writers like Megan Crane, Stephanie Cotta, Peggy Dover, Leslie Ghiglieri, Ken Gregg, Sandra Phoenix, Larry Smith, Paul Tipton, Maisey Yates and more will be available to share insights, answer your questions and sign books!Each author will have their books available for purchase from Rebel Heart Books at the event. Community Exhibit: A Gathering of Angels
We are thrilled to welcome the ethereal into the gallery with "A Gathering of Angels" gracing our gallery for two glorious months this year. Local artists and gallery members are participating in this annual event, which has become a beloved winter tradition in our community. Come ready to be captivated by original artworks depicting angels, saints, and ephemeral entities of all kinds. It’s a truly special show.

A concert inspired by the words of Anglo-Irish poet Cecil Frances Alexander, this concert will feature the Rogue Valley Chorale in a concert of choral anthems celebrating the beauty encompassed in the world around us, whether it be finding awe in the vast magnitude of the cosmos, the wonder of natural landscapes, or the beauty of all living things.
Join us to celebrate the release of Alice Di Micele's 18th album "Reverse the Flow" and help support the Williams Community Pre-school. The School will serve dinner at 6pm and all of those proceeds along with some of the profit from ticket sales will go to support the school. Alice will be joined by her accompanist, guitar phenom Andy Casad.
The psychedelic buddy-comedy film The Lemurian Candidate is coming to the Varsity Theater in Ashland from as part of its sold-out West Coast screening tour.
The film features Ashland-based actor Barret O’Brien, a veteran of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and star of Gary Lundgren's films "Above the Trees" and the Duplass Brothers TV series "The Long Long Night." Shot entirely on and around nearby Mt. Shasta, "The Lemurian Candidate" has already become a regional sensation, selling out three consecutive weeks of screenings at Mt. Shasta Cinemas.

These small gatherings are for those who practice or would like to learn about Christian contemplative, or mystical, spirituality. The meetings are open to the public, educational, supportive, and non-dogmatic, but we are currently meeting in the Ashland Public Library's Guanajuato Room, which has limited space.
