50th Anniversary of the Pear Blossom Run presented by Asante is Saturday, April 11th. The 5K race through downtown Medford starts at 7:00 am followed by the 1 and 2 mile Fun Runs, with the 10 Mile event beginning at 8:20 am. There is also a free Open House & pancake feed at the YMCA from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. To register, log-on to pearblossomrun.org, benefiting the Rogue Valley Family YMCA.
GPHS Project Graduation 2026 is sponsoring the annual "Will-A-Thon" to raise money for a safe drug and alcohol free party for the Class of 2026. Participants will consult with one of the following volunteer attorneys to have a basic will, power of attorney, and advance directive prepared. Cost $300 Single, $350 Couple. Starting May 3, the heart of downtown Ashland will be home to the Saturday Market, running every Saturday until October 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the 100 block of Oak St. This exclusive one block long market provides healthy options, fresh organic produce, artisan foods, and more every week for the locals and travelers passing through. 🌲 Sequoia Park Ivy League is back for another pull! 🌲
📚 We have our own Ivy League in town and it’s not what you think. Instead of hitting the books, we are hitting the park to eradicate invasive ivy from our beloved Redwood forest.
⛲ Drop into the park anytime between 9am and 1pm on Saturday, April 11th. Meet at the Glatt St. Fountain at Glatt & T St. We will have all supplies for you, and we will train you on everything you need to know.

Spring Book SaleCome to the Eureka Library, 1313 Third Street, on Friday and Saturday, April 10 and 11, for the Friends of the Redwood Libraries` big Spring Book Sale. Hours both days will be 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday's sale is for members only; memberships are available at the door. Saturday's sale will welcome everyone. Thousands of books, both fiction and non-fiction, will be available at fantastic prices. Look especially for cookbooks and a huge selection of quality mysteries. Credit cards are welcome; small bills are appreciated for cash sales. Proceeds will benefit the entire Humboldt County Library system.
