PAS presents "Perspectives": a virtual concert with percussionist Eric Whitmer. "Perspectives" explores the myriad ways that musical elements inspire and evolve. Each piece invites the audience to take a new perspective. One provides a new temporal experience; another explores and expands the idea of melody. All works are by living composers. Local percussionist Eric Whitmer returns to the PAS VIRTUAL stage to present his livestream program from Vanderbilt University, Tennessee, where he is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Music in Percussion Performance. The program will be available on youtube.com/PASRedding starting January 14, 2022 at 7:30 p.m. and thereafter will be available for viewing until February 14.
