Gizmos and Gadgets for Everyday Life

With Parkinson’s, sometimes one’s ability to do activities like making a meal, taking a shower, working in the garden or balancing a checkbook confidently and safely can be affected. When this happens, working with an Occupational Therapist (OT) can by extremely beneficial!

This interactive and engaging discussion, presented by Parkinson’s Resources of Oregon, will be led by Occupational Therapist Mallory Apel, OTD with Sky Lakes Rehabilitation. Mallory will cover what OTs do, how they help their clients with Parkinson’s, and explore the many adaptive "gizmos and gadgets" available help people achieve their goals. You will discover that there is much more to working with an OT than just the activities of daily living!
