This program is the first of a 4-part series, “Southern Oregon History: Its People and Places”, and participants do not need to attend all of the programs in the series to participate. Please click HERE to see more information about programs in the series. Cost: $5 Donation (scholarships available) Audience: Adults & Older Kids Location: Zoom Registration required. Registration required. Register by 10:00 pm on the Sunday before the program date. Registrants will receive Zoom information the day before the program. Before Portland, Jacksonville was the heart of Oregon’s Black community. But despite a 150 year presence in the area, the contributions of Blacks in Southern Oregon are seldom told.
